BALLET UNIFORM

Nursery, Preparatory, Pre-Primary & Primary (plus jazz)
Pink short-sleeved leotard
pink spotted voile skirt
pink socks (tights are not permitted)
pink satin ballet shoes with elastic (leather shoes are not permitted)
Pink crossover cardigan (optional)

Grade 1 & 2 (plus modern/jazz)
Burgundy short-sleeved leotard
pink socks (tights are not permitted)
pink satin ballet shoes with elastic (leather shoes are not permitted)
White elastic belt
Black canvas character shoes
Black circular character skirt, with three rows of ribbon
Pink crossover cardigan (optional)

Grade 3 (plus modern/jazz) & Grade 4
Burgundy short-sleeved leotard
pink convertible tights
pink satin ballet shoes with elastic (leather shoes are not permitted)
White elastic belt
Black canvas character shoes
Black circular character skirt, with three rows of ribbon
Pink crossover cardigan (optional)

White elastic belts are compulsory for all ballet classes from Grade 1 upwards

Grade 5, Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced 1&2
A burgundy, navy blue or black leotard in any suitable style
D Coaching may wear a suitable leotard in any colour
White elastic belt (compulsory)
Pink convertible tights.
Pink ballet shoes in satin, leather or canvas with elastic.
Pink satin soft-blocks are required from Intermediate onwards
Pointe shoes are to be acquired only at the discretion of the teacher, and must be fitted and purchased from Bob Martin.
Experienced Seniors will be expected to purchase their own pointe shoes.

Boys’ Uniform
Junior boys’ navy lycra shorts, white leotards and white canvas ballet shoes with elastic, can be purchased as a special order. Tap shoes and black jazz pants may also be ordered.
Senior boys’ leotards, white canvas ballet shoes and navy ballet tights may be purchased as a special order.
Tap shoes and black jazz pants may also be ordered.

Tap, Modern, Jazz Classes
Normal ballet leotards (white elastic belts not required)
convertible tights. (Jazz pants are not permitted for modern classes)
black jazz pants for tap & jazz classes
Suitable dancewear for Junior, Intermediate and Senior Jazz, (not outdoor clothing)
Crossover cardigans (optional).
White canvas tap shoes for Juniors
Black Oxford tap shoes for Seniors.
