I want my MTV

Helen Bateman, Carly Wells, Hannah Parbery and Victoria Fillingham were recently chosen to perform in an MTV video shoot, which will be screened on television shortly.
They were asked to learn a tap dance, which only had a short rehearsal before the filming took place.
The Director said that they were very quick, praised them for their professionalism and said that he would love to use them again, as they were a pleasure to work with.
Helen is currently at Middlesex University studying dance and choreography, and has also been very successfully teaching for the Allied Schools of Dance. They attribute their success to the excellent classes at the schools, which have branches in Central Berkshire.

Excellent Exam Results...Again!

Excellent exam results are always obtained: twenty-two Major ballet exams were taken recently, with fourteen students gaining Distinction: a remarkable success, as high marks are rarely achieved.

Woodley to the West End

From eleven years old, student training gives impressive results: nine former students are currently in full-time professional training in theatre colleges, and several ex-pupils can be found starring in ballet companies and in West End theatres, or teaching at home and abroad. Six girls were recently awarded BBO Ballet Scholarships: an excellent achievement. Nine pupils joined theatre companies in pantomime over the Christmas period, including dancing at the Hexagon and the Wilde Theatre, Bracknell.

Scholarships for well trained trio

Allied Schools of Dance has a national reputation for producing well-trained students, with a love of dance. This was recognised by the Director of the British Ballet Organisation, who offered three pupils from the school, ballet scholarships to study with ex-professional ballerina Miss Brenda Last.

Lauren O'Sullivan, Jenna Lee Engelbrecht and Michaela Bartlam were thrilled to have been chosen from so many dancers auditioning, and they join Kathryn Elward, Charlotte Lesbirel and Salina Noble in the BBO Scholars' classes in London.

All six girls gained very high marks for recent exams.
